Coordinate data transmission from image or text - has pen with built in receiver transmitter communicating with remote data processor

The system enables co-ordinate information to be determined in relation to a book or document and uses a pen with built in receiver/transmitter. The book is located on a suitable surface that has several transmitters located around the periphery. The pen based receiver/transmitter is in communication with a remote data processor over a wireless link, using either infra red or ultrasonic techniques. The pen is periodically activated to provide co-ordinate data based upon the transmitters located around the periphery.
