<p>The radiographic appts. has a patient's support plate, on whose side is mounted an X-ray appts. (10) for selective positioning. The appts. has on the side, facing the support plate, a compression tube (16) which can be slid into the appts. radiation field (15). The compression tube is held on a free end of a boom arm (19,20), aligned transversely to the patient's support plate. The tube guides (21-24) are secured laterally next to the radiation field on the X-ray appts. This arrangement prevents soiling of the tube guide rails with contrast substance, requiring difficult cleaning. Pref. the boom arm consists of several parts in telescopic arrangement. It can be driven by an endless belt (29). The compression tube is used for examination of inner organs, in order to reduce as much as possible the layer thickness in the radiation field.</p> |
