[Also in Division B8] Devices for mixing and dispensing at least two liquids comprise elastic storage means comprising at least two separate containers 1, 2, a closure for said storage means comprising a mixing chamber 16 with outlet 8 to the amosphere, liquid passages 15a, b separately connecting the containers to the mixing chamber and having valves 14a, b adapted to open by internal pressure in the containers and close by atmospheric pressure when the containers are released after deformation whereby back flow of liquids from the mixing chamber is prevented, and air passages 13a, b having valves 12a, b adapted to close by internal pressure in the containers and open by atmospheric pressure to allow equalisation of pressures on release of the container after deformation. An insert with peripheral spiral passage may be present in the mixing chamber to enhance mixing, and the device used for discharging reactive liquids, e.g. polyurethane resin precursors, warm shaving creams, hair dyes and therapeutic mixtures. |
