A fluid system for controlling a valve 17 comprises a pure fluid amplifier 31 which receives control signals through channels 37, 38 to control the deflection of power jet 32 between outlets 42, 43. The outlet 42 is connected to a cylinder 24 so that the outlet pressure acts on a spring-loaded piston 21 to adjust the valve member 17. Movement of the valve 17 moves a valve member 54 to control the leakage from ports 57, 58 supplied from a source 62 whereby pressures are applied through conduits 63, 64 to second control channels 47, 48 of the amplifier to provide a feedback. The amplifier is also provided with vents 34, 45 and 46. |
