A head protection device for animals wherein inflatable cushioning means are provided down the length of a head over the cheekbones to resiliently cushion, when inflated, against impacts. The device may be in the form of a U-shaped tube affixed by connection means either directly to the head or to a halter. Additional U- shaped tubes may arch across the front of the face to join the two arms of the U-shaped tube fitted over the cheekbones. For ease of fitting the tube arms may be biased inwardly to grip the head during the fitting process. <IMAGE> |
