CONSTITUTION:A liq. crystal layer 2 is interposed between upper plate glass 1 and lower plate glass 3, and a reflecting plate 5 is laid at the back side of the resulting cell to manufacture a guest-host type liq. crystal display device. At this time, the plate 5 is adhered to the galss 3 through a frame-shaped protrusion formed on the peripheral part of the plate 5 to form an air layer 4 between the plate 5 and the glass 3. |
