PURPOSE:To seal a liq. crystal injection hole with high reliability in a short time by using acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral parts of a glass plate 1a having a transparent electrode film and an oriented film on the inside and an opposite similar glass plate 1b (not shown) are sealed with a sealant 2 made of epoxy resin adhesive. After injecting a liq. crystal 3 into the formed space from an injection hole 4, the hold 4 is sealed with a sealant 5 made of acrylic adhesive. A mixture consisting of 100pts.wt. urethane diacrylate resin obtd. by diacrylating urethane resin with about 3,000mol. wt. about 10pts.wt. acrylic silane coupling agent and about 1pt.wt. photosensitizer such as beta-methylanthraquinone is used as the acrylic adhesive. |
