<p>Evaporator has an assembly of corrugated vanes for sepg. entrained liq. droplets from vapour generated in the evaporator mounted at the outlet of the evaporator. Vapour leaving the evaporator passes along a tortuous path between adjacent vanes from the outer wall to the inner wall of the assembly. The spacing between adjacent vanes is such that droplets entrained in the vapour impinge upon the vanes and become sepd. as the vapour leaves the evaporator. The assembly of corrugated vanes can be fabricated using commercially available vanes used, e.g. in scrubbers and mist eliminators.</p> |
