High powered rudder for a vessel comprising a rudder blade (20) on which is pivotally mounted a flap (10). The flap (10) has a fork-shaped smooth bearing (30) for an oscillating piston (40). The piston (40) is held between the arms (31, 32) of the fork by means of sliding shoes (60) and is articulated on a rod (50) attached to the vessel's body. |
