PURPOSE:To eliminate the errors caused by the change of a sample and the rotation of a goniometer, by detecting a diffraction X-ray of three domains of the sample obtained by making one sample disposed adjascently to the other two samples in both neighborhood between two kinds of similar samples. CONSTITUTION:For example, a heat-treated sample is attached on the first sample domain A of a sample attaching board 12 and not heat-treated normal sample which is the same substance to said sample, is attached on the second and third domain B, C. Next, X ray is irradiated on the first domain through the first slit 9 and diffracted X-ray of this time is detected by an X-ray dtector 16. Then, the diffracted X-ray of the second and third domain is detected through slits 10a, 10b rotating a cylindrical body 8 at 180 deg.C by a motor 19. Further, the same operation is carried out rotating the board 12 at a prescribed angle and rotating the detector 16 at double angles of said angle. Thus, difference of Bragg's angle giving the maximum value of intensity from a profile of the intensity of two diffraction X-ray obtained by one rotation of a goniometer is fond and the diffeence of a lattice constant is found by said difference. |
