The hammer has a shaft, one end of which engages into a passage in the head, and is connected to it. The shaft (1) and the head (3) are fastened via a screw connection or similar. The shaft projects through the head passage (2) to the upper surface (5). Directly above the passage aperture, a plate (6) with a bore (7) at least partly covers the aperture. A screw (8) passes through the bore, into the shaft top. The screw head engages on the body.
