PURPOSE:To indicate significant data clearly while generating a new file by writing the new file and a data end block DEB continuously by holding the data end mark DEM written right after the significant data previously, and then rewriting the DEM into a file head mark FHM. CONSTITUTION:When a new file is written overlapping with an old file, a processor 15 commands a cassette adapter 12 to perform a program search for a file F3. A control circuit in the adapter reads data successively from the beginning of a bubble cassette memory under the program-search command and, when counting a file head mark FHM three time, it stops the read of the data of enter into writing operation. Firstly, a data end DEM is written at the 8th bit of a control byte. Then, data in a new file F3' are written as blocks successively and the final block is written with a file mark FEM added to its control byte. Data end block DEBs are written successively and then a program searchs for a new file, thereby writing the FHM. |
