Vitaminized milk powder is produced from a supply of liquid milk product, an oil-based vitamin A concentrate containing at least one emulsifying agent and employing a number of heat-treatment stages. The process is particularly useful when the liquid milk product is a skim milk. Vitaminized milk powders prepared by the method of the invention have increased stability under temperate and tropical conditions.
