PURPOSE:A cosmetic, containing a large amount of a substance such as propylene glycol capable of generating heat on contact with water to increase the temperature and a small amount of a cosmetic component, capable of promoting the deterging and finishing effects and giving a comfortable warm feeling, and usable for hair washing, the hair or skin. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing 91-99wt%, preferably 91-95wt%, substance capable of generating heat on contact with water to increase the temperature, e.g. a 2-9C alkylene glycol, aliphatic triol, dialkylene glycol and a derivative thereof, polyalkylene oxide and a derivative thereof, preferably the polyalkylene oxide. The temperature increase on mixing with almost equal amount of water is >=3 deg.C, preferably >=8 deg.C, but the increase >=20 deg.C, preferably >= 64 30 deg.C, is not preferred from the standpoint of safety. EFFECT: Dry finish feeling without greasiness with a steaming effect. |
