<p>A system for remote control with at least one central station (1) for supplying control signals to an arbitrary number of apparatuses to be controlled via a connecting line (2) in the form of a shielded transmission line common to all apparatuses, such as a coaxial electrical line, to which all the apparatuses and the or each central station are connected in parallel, and in which system connection in any arbitrary point is possible. The control signals are different for the individual apparatuses or groups thereof, said apparatuses being provided with discriminating means for the signals in question. In particular frequency modulation, and preferably pulse modulation, is used. Via the same transmission line also sound, picture and/or data signals can be transmitted, and the apparatuses intended therefor can be remotely switched on and off by means of corresponding control signals.</p> |
