PURPOSE:To enable the automatic replacement of stylus by providing a sleeve to be mounted/dismounted on a stylus mounting shaft on a stylus. CONSTITUTION:By utilizing the control function of a positioning means, a socket 13 is inserted through a notch section 47 of a receiving board 33 to stop the step section 31 while contacting against the upper face of the receiving board 33. A L-shaped member 39 will push down a sleeve 21 through the hydraulic function to disengage a spherical member 9 from a groove 7, and the stylus 15 is dismounted from a stylus mounting shaft by the lifting of the tracer head 1 or the lowering of the stylus mounting device 45. While under the state where the pressurized oil is supplied to an oil supply port 49, the stylus mounting shaft 3 is inserted into the socket 13 and the pressurized oil is supplied through an oil supply port 51 then the stylus 15 is mounted on the stylus mounting shaft. Consequently a stylus mounting device having simple structure and operating reliably while scarcely applying the external force on the tracer mounting shaft can be obtained. |
