<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate proof-reading through forming a block copy for proof-reading and a block copy for printing with which a layout is understood, by recording and reproducing an accurate layout in and from a master data file, made of a correctable recording medium, together with a code number. CONSTITUTION:In a master data file 80 made of a correctable magnetic disk, etc., information on a pattern to be laid out is recorded 35 together with a code number 34. According to a code number, the information is reproduced 65-67 by selecting said file to obtain a block copy 90, including patterns, such as title characters, ruled lines, frame lines, etc., and a block copy 95 for printing, including register marks, ruled lines, frame lines, etc., at an optional time with discrimination. For proof- reading, partial corrections are made by correcting the data in the master data file 80, and in adhering various paper prints to the block copy 95, they are adhered to accurate positions according to the block copy 90.</p> |
