PURPOSE:To secure a selective output of the displayed picture information or the synthetic information obtained by adding the addition information to the said displayed picture information, by installing a switch means to the output side of a video generating circuit that feeds the data to a display device or a hard copy device. CONSTITUTION:A data is fed to a refresh memory 4 through a bus BUS of a display controller 1, and a control circuit 2 scans the data of the memory 4 and send it to a video generating circuit 5. At the same time, the circuit 2 transmits a command through a positioning signal line 9. A switch synthetic circuit 8 is operated by a switch command line 10 consisting of a display command line 10-1 and an output pattern command line 10-2. In other words, the synthetic information of the displayed picture information and the additional information is delivered from the memory 4 when the signal of 1 is applied to the line 10-1; and only the additional information is delivered from the memory 4 when the signal of 0 is applied to the line 10-1 respectively. While the displayed picture information and the synthetic information are delivered to a CRT6 and a hard copy device 7 respectively when the signal of 1 is applied to the line 10-2. Then the displayed picture information can be delivered to the CRT6 and the device 7 respectively when the signal of 0 is applied to the line 10-2. |
