PURPOSE:To eliminate the delay of a re-synchronization indication and to reduce the load of software, by providing a start character detecting circuit for a network discrimination code so as to decide the necessity of establishment of re-synchronization through no software. CONSTITUTION:Receiving data from a receiving line 1 is led to a character synchronization establishing circuit 2 and a character receiving circuit 3, and the character synchronization establishing circuit 2 detects an SYN (synchronizing signal) pattern from receiving data to establish character synchronization and transmits a character synchronization establishment signal to a line 5. The character receiving circuit 3 assembles characters and transmits them to a data line 10. When a 3/10 character detecting circuit 11 detects a 3/10 characters, a counter 8 is started to count the number of characters, and the output is issued when the count value is ''4''. At this time, if a 3/11 character detecting circuit 12 does not issue the detection output, the character synchronization establishing circuit 12 is reset to give a re- synchronization indication. |
