<p>PREAMBLE TO DISCLOSURE Be it known that RICHARD FORSYTH LUKE, of Oxcroft Works, Boughton Lane, Clowne, Chesterfield, having made an invention entitled: "BELT CONVEYOR" the following disclosure contains a correct and full description of the invention and of the best mode known to the inventor of taking advantage of the same. A scraper for a conveyor belt comprises a scraper blade adapted, in use, to extend transversely of the surface of a belt to be scraped, spring means operable on the blade to urge the latter into engagement with the belt, and a fluid damper unit located at or towards each end of the blade and serving to damp displacement, in use, of the spring means.</p> |
