The locking device couples together two freight containers stacked one above the other, and has a distance plate (2) with two locking bodies (3,4) engaging in mating apertures (5,6) in the container corners (7,8). The bodies and containers are thus relieved of supporting loads. - On one side of the plate are two hooks (17,18), one of which (18) engages with a lashing chain (14,16) extending vertically downwards, and the other (17) engaging with a chain (13,16) extending vertically upwards.(2) |
