PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a measuring device mentioned in the above title, by obtaining both the direction and the degree of the shift of traveling locus from the difference of outputs between two coils. CONSTITUTION:Two detection coils 24 are set at the area close to the position right above the end part of a metallic plate 22. If a self-traveling car gets out of the locus, i.e., the plate 22, the coil 24 also gets out of position in the horizontal direction. Thus the form of the plate 22 change to the coil 24 althrough the height of the coil 24 has no change. Accordingly, the output voltage of the coil 24 varies. As a result, a DC voltage signal which is proportional to the locus shift degree is obtained by detecting the difference of output voltage between a pair of coils 24 through an operator 36. In other words, both the direction and the degree of the locus shift is obtained at a time from the difference of outputs between the two coils 24. |
