In a furniture frame, which has a holder part, such as a chair seat element 2, and one or more elongated structural parts, such as legs 6, 10, the structural parts have been combined with the holder part 2 by means of tapered end tenon sections 8, which have been forced into corresponding tapered holes 4 in the holder part 2. The tenon sections 8 have a pronounced non-circular cross- section and they taper from the full cross-sectional contour of the structural parts 6, 10, that is to say they do not have any shoulder section that presses against the outside of the holder part 2 around the tenon hole. <IMAGE> |
