<p>PURPOSE:To uniformalize loads of respective heaters and to increase the lifetime of the heaters by disposing the heaters of the number more than the number of heaters to be originally necessary for a composite matrix typing head, and alternately operating main and sub heaters for one heater. CONSTITUTION:One auxiliary heaters 1-0 is added to 11 heaters 1-1-11 originally necessary for a composite matrix typing, and a heater driver of the first group using the heaters 1-1-11 and a heater driver of the second group using the heaters 1-1- 10 containing the auxiliary heaters 1-0 are aligned with a letter pattern generator 3. The first group corresponds to terminals 3-1-5, and secod group corresponds to terminals 3-1'-5' to be used by switching with the switches. Heaters 1-2, 4, 6, 8, 10 become main heaters by the operation of the drive circuit of the first group, and heaters 1-1, 3, 5, 7, 9 of the second group becomes main heaters. When they are alternately used by switching, the heaters are uniformalized.</p> |
