In a locking piece (4) for a window or door, which is guided in an undercut groove (2) and which is displaceable there via an actuating cord (9), the fastening of the locking piece (4) to the actuating cord (9) takes place via a screw (14) which is mounted in the locking piece (4) and which, with its end face (19), presses the actuating cord (9) against a slot (11) of the foot (6) of the locking piece (4) and deflects it in a bore (15). In order to obtain a firm hold of the locking piece (4) on the actuating cord (9), without the possibility that the actuating cord (9) will be destroyed by the screw (14), the bore (15) is provided, in the region of the slot (11), with two grooves (17) which are open on one side and the cross-section of which corresponds to the cross-section of the actuating cord (9). A more pronounced deflection of the actuating cord (9) in the region of the bore (15) thus becomes possible and a firm hold is thereby provided, without the possibility that a crushing of the actuating cord (9) will occur. <IMAGE> |
