PURPOSE:To prevent forgetting of turning off light and provide safety of travelling by detecting brightness outside a vehicle to operate a control circuit for automatically turning on and off lights. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 10 is connected to an automatic side contact 13 with a travelling switch 50 being turned on in travelling within a tunnel, for example, impedance of a detecting element CdS61 of a circuit 60 for detecting brightness outside a vehicle is high to turn off a trasistor 72, supply current to a relay coil 73, close its contact 74 and light a head lamp 20 and small lamp 30. When the vehicle has passed through the tunnel, the impedance of CdS61 is low to turn off the lights 20, 30 automatically. Also, when the switch 10 is turned to the contact 11 side, the lights 20, 30 are lit manually and turn the switch 10 to the contact 12 side, only small lamp 30 is lit manually. |
