<p>PURPOSE:to ensure monitoring of insulation resistance of field winding and inspection of abnormality, by executing an abnormality inspection by operating calculation of insulation resistance of a field circuit using leak current which occurs in case if changeover impression of DC current is made to positive side and negative side of the field circuit. CONSTITUTION:Positive side and negative side of a field winding 1 of a turbine generator, etc. are impressed with DC voltage from a DC power source 6 connected to a changeover switch 5. leak currents I01 and I02 which then pass through the winding 1 and an insulation resistance 3 of the winding 1, are detected by a leak current detector 7 and impressed onto an input device 8 of an operation indicating unit 30 to which a field voltage e by a field voltage detector 4 is added. And, by conducting an operation by an operating and inspecting system 9 and on the basis of equation I, a resistance value RM of the resistance 3 is calculated, and at the same time, a determination is made by comparing the calculated value with a set value, and this is indicated on an indicator 10 at the time of occurrence of an abnormality. It is possible, by employing this mechanism, to ensure monitoring of insulation resistance of field winding and detection of abnormality.</p> |
