PURPOSE:To print multicolor recording picture having excellent color reproducibility and high light resistance by ink jet on a recording sheet having ultraviolet absorber by using ink containing water soluble acidic or direct dye as coloring component. CONSTITUTION:Aqueous ink containing yellow, magenta, cyan and black dyes (e.g., copper phthalocyanine tetrasulfonic acid represented by the formulaI) of water soluble acidic dye or water soluble direct dye as colorants with moistening agent (e.g., compound represented by the formula II) is dissolved with ultraviolet absorber [e.g., 2-(2'-hydroxy-5'-methylphenyl)benztriazole]in a high boiling point organic solvent (e.g., di-n-butylphthalate), are dispersely mixed in aqueous hydrophilic colloide solution, and are coated with pigment (e.g., zeolite) on a recording sheet, and the sheet is printed by ink jet. |
