In a positive printing plate including an oleophilic material from an association product of a phenolic resin and 0.6-1.5 parts by weight of an ethylene oxide polymer with molecular weight 40,000-10,000,000, per part by weight of phenolic resin, 0.06-0.25 parts by weight of a chromium trioxide component per 1 part of phenolic resin, and a light-sensitising agent, the light-sensitising agent is a dichromate salt, a diazonium salt, an azidoaromatic compound or a transition metal complex. The plates give half-tone or continuous tone prints. |
