PURPOSE:To provide a sheet forming device which is able to form easily transparent sheets with high gloss on both sides by pressing a sheet on to the first and second cooling rolls with a touch roll and nip roll which are made of an elastic material. CONSTITUTION:A melted sheet 3 is pressed tightly on the first cooling roll by pressing it down with an elastic tough roll 14 to raise gloss on the A face, and at the point Q the sheet 18 is made to contact a cooling roll 8 tightly by pressing down the sheet 18 on to the second cooling roll 8 with an elastic nip roll 15 to raise gloss on the B face. The sheet both faces of which gained in gloss is furthr cooled with the third cooling roll 11 to obtain a sheet 12 with good transparency. |
