<p>PURPOSE:To ensure a quick selection of a desired ideogam without any skill, by visually displaying the positin of the selected ideogram on a character board. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rails 14 are installed around the character boards 11 and 12 on a panel 13, and a bar 15 extending across the boards 11 and 12 is supported by the rails 14. An indication arm 16 that selects the characters on the character board is attached to the bar 15 via a coupler 17. When the position on the board 11 or 12 is indicated by the arm 16, the indicted position is discriminated thrugh a discriminating circuit. Then the character corresponding to the indicated position is displayed on a display device 18. Thus an operator selects successively the characters on the boards 11 and 12 while looking at the display on the device 18 to form a Japanese sentence.</p> |
