PURPOSE:To facilitate measurement of inclinations of various surfaces by making both surfaces of a rectangular frame by using transparent plates, by sealing a liquid, and by providing an angle scale to the transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:Two transparent plates 2 having a scale 4 are stuck together with a frame 3 interposed, and a liquid 5 is sealed between the plates to form an inclinometer 1. One side of the frame is brought into contact with a slanting sample and its inclination is measured on the scale 4 with the horizontal surface of the liquid 5. Thus, measurements of inclinations of various surfaces of a roof, a staircase, a column, a ground surface, etc., are performed easily. |
