PURPOSE:To shorten a time necessary for exchanging an endless conveyor belt, and to enhance operation efficiency, by providing the side plate for supporting a roller, with a notch having a form a capable of exchanging the belt. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor belt 10 is exchanged as follows: Guide roller springs 22, 23 are detached from a support side plate 24, guide rollers 13, 14 are removed, a side plate piece 26 for supporting a driven roller 15 provided with the bearing 16 to the roller 15 is detached from the plate 24, then, the roller 15 is drawn out to this direction in the figure through the notched part Cf formed through the plate 24, and thus pressure of press rollers 8, 9 is released. A side plate piece 25 for supporting a drive roller provided with a drive roller bearing 12 is removed from the plate 24, and the belt 10 is drawn out through the notched part Cd of the plate 24 to this direction in the figure. A new belt 10 is fitted in the reverse procedure. |
