<p>PURPOSE:To confirm the inputted characters without lowering the input speed for a Chinese character input device that supplies a sentence containing KANA (Japanese syllabary) letters and Chinese characters by an associative input method, by delivering the prescribed way if reading corresponding to the inputted character in a synthetic voice. CONSTITUTION:A Chinese character input device supplies a sentence containing KANA letters and Chinese characters by a associative input method in which a KANA letter or Chinese character is allotted with one or plural KANA letters. With such input device, the allotted KANA letter is supplied to an input code/character code converting part 11. With each supply of this KANA letter, the KANA letter is converted into a character code as well as into a voice code. The prescribed way of reading corresponding to the input character is delivered 17 in a synthetic voice 16. As a result, an operator can supply a sentence including KANA letters and Chinese characters without lowering the speed of input and also confirming the input characters through the ears.</p> |
