PURPOSE:To decrease the number of characters on a keyboard and to realize a quick selection of characters, by using both the keyboard and a tablet plate on which the symbol can be freely drawn. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 10 is used along with a tablet plate 11 on which the symbol can be freely drawn. Thus if some symbol doos not exist on the keyboard 10, the symbol drawn manually on the plate 11 is supplied to a processor. At the same time, the symbol given from the plate 11 is displayed on a display device to indicate that the symbol is once used. After this, the symbol displayed on a display device 13 is indicated in every time the same symbol emerges. Thus the displayed symbol can be transferred to a prescribed symbol array position on a processor. |
