摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a material excellent in resistance to weather, water, acids and alkalis, mechanical strength and the like at low cost by a method wherein a resin- coated electric conductor is inserted between veneers of a foamed plastic having a low expansion ratio, and the laminated parts of the veneers are integrally fusion bonded to each other under the heat generated by passing a current through the conductor. CONSTITUTION:In order to produce a thick laminate of a uniform thickness of at least 10mm. from veneers (2-4mm. thick) of polyethylene or the like which is prepared by an extrusion foaming method and has a uniform foam distribution, a net of a resin-coated electric conductor is inserted between two or more veneers of the foamed plastic having a low expansion ratio, and the veneers are integrally fusion bonded to each other by the Joule heat generated by passing a current through the conductor while keeping the thickness thereof. By coating the net of the conductor with a synthetic resin, the lamination and integration of the veneers can be accomplished more securely and perfectly.</p>
