PURPOSE:To decrease the size of a device by a method wherein a plunger is slidably inserted in an annular seal member slidably engaged internally of a cylinder to enable high precise suction and delivery of a trace amount of liquid and suction and delivery of a relatively large amount of liquid through a single pump. CONSTITUTION:When a title pump is applied to the distribution cleaning cylinder pump of a chemical analyzing device, an annular seal member 12b is slidably engaged internally of a cylinder 12a, and a plunger 12c is slidably inserted in a seal member 12b. In this case, slide resistance A between the members 12a and 12b is set to a value high enough not to allow movement of the members 12b and 12c under gravity, and slide resistance B between the members 12b and 12c is set to a value lower than the A. Through reciprocating movement of the plunger 12a, sample liquid in a receptacle 10 and washing liquid in a receptacle 9 are orderly sucked through a nozzle 7 to mix them together, and mixture liquid is moved in a reaction liquid receptacle 11. Through reciprocating movement of the plunger 12c accompanied by the seal member 12b, cleaning liquid in the receptacle 9 is sucked and delivered for cleaning. |
