<p>A shiny Jersey knitted fabric, suitable for floodlit sportswear, has an under-surface of cotton, for comfort, which does not pass through to the shiny surface. A binder yarn is interposed between the two materials, alternately passing from the Jersey knitted top side to the cotton under-side. The fabric of the invention offers a knitted garment, comfortable to wear and having a shiny outer surface. The garment requires only one dyeing operation, and no stripiness is evident after dyeing.</p> |
