The alignment frame for the construction of wooden partitions comprises two vertical telescopic tubes (1) and at least one similar horizontal telescopic tube. Each vertical tube is made up of a polygonal tube (2) and an interior slide (3) and incorporates a lock (17) which allows the slide (3) to move either continuously or step by step in the tube (2). The horizontal tube is universally jointed to stirrups which slide over the outer surface of the vertical tubes (1). The lock (17) comprises two spring-biassed flaps which bear against the inner surface of the tube (2).
