<p>The wire mesh or sheet steel panel (1) is used for the fabrication of containers and enclosures. The panel is fitted with edge protectors (2,3) which serve also to reinforce the panel. In the case of sheet steel panels to edges of the panel are folded to provide a positive location for the protective strip. The corners of the panels are protected by channel section right-angled corner pieces (7,8). Each piece forms one side of the corner protection and they are clamped either side of the panel using a nut and bolt (9). The corner pieces also hold in position the straight edging strips.</p> |
