<p>Prodn. of a unit quantity of seaweed-based drink is carried out by (a) infusing 50 g coriander, 10 g ginger and 2 g rosemary with 500 ml water and pouring the hot liq. onto 250 g honey; (b) adding 6000 ml hot water to a mixt. of 400 g sugar and 120 g liq. seaweed extract; and (c) mixing the liqs. from (a) and (b), cooling the mixt., and adding 4000 ml of fruit juice. The liq. seaweed extract can be replaced by 230 g of powdered seaweed. An alcoholic drink can be prepd. by replacing the water in (a) and the fruit juice in (c) by 4000 ml of alcohol and doubling the amts. of coriander, ginger and rosemary. The drink combines the beneficial action of seaweed with a pleasant taste.</p> |
