PURPOSE:To vertically settle a caisson without the need for correction of its direction by extending the upper and lower liquid-pressure jacks of footing. CONSTITUTION:A caisson unit 4A is hung down and inserted into the vertical hole of a footing 2, and the lower end of the unit 4A is positioned at the lower level of the footing 2. The piston lever 10 of plural upper liquid-pressure jacks 8 and the piston lever 26 of plural lower liquid-pressure jacks 9 are positioned by turning their axes toward the center of the vertical hole of the footing 2. While positioning a slide plate 15 between the unit 4A and a slide shoe 21, the piston 10 is extended and the center of the upper part of the unit 4A is positioned at the center of the vertical hole of the footing 2. On the other hand, when the piston lever 26 is extended, the center of the lower part of the unit 4A is positioned at the center of the vertical hole of the footing 2. Then, the unit 4A is settled. |
