Automatic loading and unloading station for pouring sheets in a chocolate moulding system, having two conveying chains (9) for conveying pouring sheets (11) which are driven continuously and are provided with holders (13) for receiving the pouring sheets, the said pouring sheet holders (13), making it possible to lock together and to separate the pouring sheets (11), for example by resilient means. The automatic loading and unloading station for pouring sheets (11) includes a working head (2) which reciprocates and interacts with the conveying chains (9) via loose deflecting pulleys (5, 6, 7), the conveying chains (9) forming a working run (10) in the interior of the said working head (2), in which run (10) the said chains (9) interact with magazines (14), each of which has a movable baseplate (14a) for loading and unloading the pouring sheets (11). Bolt-like locking means (26) are provided between the working head (2) and the conveying chains (9) in order to determine the working stroke of the working head (2), as are repositioning means (32-45) for returning the working head to its starting position. The working head (2) is furthermore provided with guiding means (46, 47) and with triggering means which cause the pouring sheet holders to open. The sequence of the different working processes is achieved by means of sensors, for example stop switches, photocells or the like. <IMAGE>
