PURPOSE:To make it possible to continue time ticking operation without time adjustment at the power failure by using built-in DC power source for a time ticking part and using an AC power source for a display part. CONSTITUTION:The time ticking part 6, which is formed by one or more complementary MOS ICs and consumes a small amount of power, is driven by an exclusive battery 4. The display part 7 which employs numerical indicators such as LED and requires a large amount of power is driven by the power obtained by rectifying the current from the AC power source 8 by rectifying circuit 5. In this constitution, even through trouble such as power failure occurs, only the indication on the display part 7 disappears, but the time ticking operation is not affected by the trouble and the operation is continued. When the AC current is conducted again, since the time at that moment can be displayed, the time adjustment is not requured. |
