The containers according to the invention are suitable for transporting and storing bulk materials which do not flow easily and which clump or cake together. The aim and object are to combine the good characteristics prevailing hitherto in flexible containers, such as low empty weight, low empty volume and long service life, with the suitability for emptying bulk materials which do not flow easily with sensible load distribution, and simple producibility. The solution according to the invention provides the point-type connection of the cylindrical outer surface of the container to the bottom lid between outer surface and bottom reinforcing straps, partly in a releasable and partly in a fixed manner. Via carrying loops attached to the outer surface reinforcement straps there is a continuous force transmission by belts made of material which is resistant to tension, but is flexible. The container is sealed off well by a sealing apron which is fixed to the outer surface and is folded in when the container is closed. <IMAGE>
