PURPOSE:To make the observation of high temp. objects easy and sure by inserting a rod lens of a quartz material and bundled fibers in a cylindrical tube of a quartz material, and adjusting their position then fixing these to the tube. CONSTITUTION:A rod lens 1 of a quartz material and bundle fibers 2 of a quartz material are inserted into a cylindrical tube 3 of a quartz material, and the position of an image pickup optical system 10 is adjusted by selecting the distance L in such a way that the image by the lens 1 is formed on the end faces of the fibers 2. Upon ending of this adjustment the lens 1 and the fibers 2 are fixed to the tube 3 by heating the outsie circumference of the tube 3, then the observation of the high temp. objects in a furnace or the like is accomplished easily and surely. |
