ON-LOAD TAP CHANGING TRANSFORMER

PURPOSE:To obtain a large changing voltage by a method wherein a changing switch is composed of odd-numbered changing switch elements and even-numbered changing switch elements which are connected in series respectively and one-step voltage is broken at serial two points by these changing switch elements. CONSTITUTION:An old-number side tap selector 13 is connected directly to a U- phase fixed contact 10U1 and through a resistor 16U1 to a U-phase fixed contact 10U3 of a neutral changing switch 15. An even-number side tap selector 14 is connected directly to a V-shaped fixed contact 10V2 and through a resistor 16V2 to a V-phase fixed contact 10V4. A neutral 17 is connected directly to fixed contacts 10U2 and 10V1 and through resistors 16U2 and 16V1 to fixed contacts 10U4 and 10V3. A moving contact 11U changes the fixed contact 10U1 to 10U2 and a moving contact 11V changes the fixed contact from 10V1 to 10V2 at the same time, so that a change from the tap 121 to the tap 122 is performed.
