The tennis racquet case is either extruded or deep drawn from hard plastics in the form of a tennis racquet. The material is metal coloured and an aluminium foil may be inserted between the outer case and an insulating material. The shape of the case is such that any type of tennis racquet at present obtainable from the trade can be stored and transported. The insulation of the case is sufficient to ensure that natural gut strings do not dry out, or nylon strings stretch.
