PURPOSE:To obtain a medium capable of propagating selectively Bifidobacterium, by adding a saccharide, e.g., glucose, ammonium salt, biotin, pantothenic acid, nalidixic acid, etc. to a medium. CONSTITUTION:100ml medium material is blended with 1.0-3.5g saccharide seelected from glucose, lactose, fructose, 0.5-2.0g ammonium salt, 0.01-0.10mg biotin, 0.2-1.0mg pantothenic acid, 0.1-1.0mg riboflavin, 5-20mg puruvic acid, 0.5-0.1g polyoxyethylene sorbitan monofatty acid ester, and 5-10mg nalidixic acid as essential components, adn, if necessary, base of nucleic acid, amino acid, oligo sccharide, indicator (pH, in anaerobic state), etc. to prepare a medium. |
