A fertilizer distributer has a conveyer 3 forming the bottom of a hopper 1 and an ejector fan 5 having its exhaust 6 connected to conveying pipes 7 each of which is open to the conveyer outlet and which leads to a spreader 8 rotatably mounted on an arm 32 and which, on the side facing the outlet opening 25 of the conveying pipe 7, has a plate 26 mounted diametrically, and at an angle to the plane of the face, the plate having a wing (27), Fig. 6 (not shown), along one longitudinal edge which, at the lower end of the inclined plate, bends inwardly over the plate so that the spreader is rotated by the air blast. The conveyer may be an endless belt, a regulator 34 adjusting the rate of feed to a set of vertical guide plates (21), Fig. 4 (not shown), leading to the conveying pipes 7. The spreaders 8 may be attached to transverse arms (20), Fig. 2 (not shown), pivotable into an inoperative transport position. |
